# resetUserState

The `resetUserState` command can be used to completely reset an end-user's consent state for all regulations or a specific regulation.

## Reset end-user state for all regulations

In order to reset the end-user state for all regulations call the `window._sp_.resetUserState()`function without passing an argument.

window._sp_.resetUserState()
```

## Reset end-user state for GDPR Standard regulation

In order to reset the end-user state for the GDPR TCF regulation call the `window._sp_.resetUserState()`function and pass `gdpr` as an argument.

```javascript Function
window._sp_.resetUserState('gdpr')
```
