For properties who are associated with a U.S. Multi-State Privacy vendor list utilizing the State framework, the state-specific privacy section will be set for end-users in each respective state that is added to the framework territories of the vendor list.
Not all states have a corresponding privacy section defined by the IAB. For states not supported by the IAB and are added to the framework territories of your vendor list, your organization can still collect consent for custom choices.
A legacy feature in Sourcepoint's U.S. Multi-State Privacy (National) vendor list builder is that we will set the respective U.S. State privacy section instead of the U.S. National privacy section for the following U.S. States added to a U.S. Multi-State Privacy (National) vendor list: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia.
